ah well..i came into uni today for my 12-5 screening/lecture only to find that I could have stayed at home until 2 cos the lecturer is off because of family ilness and there will be no lecture/seminar today. Instead of having the screening at 12, before the class, like it usually is some smart person has dedided to wait and have it at 2 so that we all have to hang about for 2 hours instead of just getting it over with at the usual time.Hmm there were a lot of 2s in that paragraph werent there.

So yeah i've just been sitting here in the resource room..dilligently taking notes from articles for about an hour and a half..and then somehow ended up here...a familiar event..anyway.

It is freezing outside! God i was supposed to have my second shot at my driving test yesterday (i sat it just before christmas but failed on a really silly thing that not even my instructor agreed with but anyway...)Of course the heavens decided to open and give us the only snow we've had since last february or so.Everything was clear when i got up yesterday and was infact clear until almost 11.15 when there was 15 minutes of heavy snow which just lay on the roads..my test was supposed to be at 1.33 so it was cancelled.The snow had mostly melted from the roads by about 4 ...and it hasnt snowed since then..talk about timing?!I just hope i dont have to wait too long for a new time cos then i'll have to pay for more refresher lessons and i really have spent so much on it already.

Ermm...in other news...not much is really happening.Was at a friends 21st the other night where I saw Levi..she gave me a lift home and we actually went present shopping together for said friend earlier in the day too.We got along just fine and all is good :) She picked up her mum on the way home too and she was chatting away to me.It was nice to see her :)

Tonight i'm going to what has become a regular thursday night occurence:the girly night... C.A invited me back in around august just after the break up but i wasn't at all feeling up to meeting people ar anything so i probably didn't go until around october..but they're a really great group of women.There's between 8 and 12 of us depending who can make it along..Levi calls it my ' women's group' night but its just basically a big group of us who get together in a different persons house each week and chat and have a few drinks and a laugh.It ranges from us being the youngest (at 20/21) to the eldest, E, who's about 40. They're mostly C.A's sister's friends. Its a good night and if anyone is feeling down about anything there's just this big group to support them and pick them back up again. C.A calls them surrogate sisters...

Anyway i'll maybe write more about that later but i'm about to be late for a screening that i arrived for 2 hours ago!...
