Hey..so here we are, in canada.. how wierd is that?!

God leaving home and being at the airport was horrible....i think i had my entire family crying,and me of course....it was really not a nice feeling.

I didn't get to sit beside Levi on the plane..even though we asked the woman for seats together..and Levi was sitting beside someone else from our group.of course i was sitting on my own.However i did have an excelent view from the wondowseat and my very own tour guide in the form of a frequent flier canadian man.. we even got to see greenland and ice bergs and things.

Anyway..now that we're here everything seems so surreal....everything is so massive compared to abck home and the city is huge!..we're fast learning that what loks like a short distance on the map really is not.

We moved into our apartment today(well room in our apartment)..its' very cool even if it doesn't have a bed yet.

First thing was first...we cleaned it....well if we're gonna be sleeping on the floor for a few nights we at least want a clean floor!..the windows were the major job though....we even had Levi out on the window ledge to clean the outside...but is sooooo needed to be done.

The weather has been roasting...31 today....god talk about a change from home!I'm glad i have my sunscreen though..even if i do have italian skin...i live in scotland...land of rain and wind..and occassional sun with a max temp. of 25!(well it can get higher but very rarely!)

we took a walk out of the hostel we were staying in last night and found ourselves right on Church, rainbow flags flying high, and couples walking around holding hands.....the Village is massive here...i mean at home we have about 5bars and clubs in our city and thats is,,wheras here....we wondered when it was going to stop!...and pride week is next week too...so hopefully we'll be able to catch some of that (although i do hope we'll both have some kinda of job by then)

LAst night we wnet up onto the roof deck of our hostel..on the 23rd floor..it was such an amazing view of downtown by night...especially with the CN tower and everything.wow.

We haven't really had much time to ourselves yet..i mean just me and Levi and time to devote to us..there has been so much to do and i feel as if things have a been a bit distant between us at times...but i'm sure that'll change soon...we'll just take a bit of time to settle into our new surroundings.

Anyway.i'm getting real hungry and the library is closing soon....when that happens we're heading off to do some grocery shopping....this is all so weird.

I still can't believe we're actually here.

I'm missing home and still haven't got used to spending money and things..you know on the things you take for granted when you live at home...but something tells me that this is gonna be great!

I just hope i'm right!
