i can't believe what has happened today.It puts so many things into perspective.

Levi came over for me this morning and everyone was out.Only my parents came back and my dad came in when she was standing in the hallway and looked disgusted and walked back out.

I couldn't believe it and that seemed like the biggest problem in the world right then.

Later I was sitting in Levi's house, and we were just eating lunch and watching tv.It was interrupted for a newsflash and there was this picture on the screen.What looked like 2 large stripes on the screen and smoke. So much smoke.

It took a while to make sense of it.

They weren't strips they were buldings.2 of the largest towers in the world.The World Trade Centre.On fire.With so much smoke.And gaping holes in the sides.

There was a replay of the second plane crashing into the side of the second tower.It looked like a special effect,like we'd changed channels and found ourselves watching a documentary style movie,you know the type.

But it was real.

And then news of another explosion.They didn't know what it was.People said it was the Pentagon but even the anchorwoman didn't believe that.And then there were pictures of that too.and it was true.They'd hit the Pentagon.

And we watched.Plans for the day suspended as we watched the bulidings burn.and fall.

The anchorwoman for ITV,Kirsty Young,interviewed her own husband who was right there when it happened. Her own husbandShe was in reporter mode and it was all so clinical until the end.When he said 'and i don't know when i'm coming home' and you realised that she didn't know everything and neither did he.If they could fly planes into the WTC and the Pentagon then anything could happen.

Another building just fell a few minutes ago and then there's that plane in Pittsburgh that no one seems to know anything about,there's no coverage of it at all.

I live half way across the world but i still can't believe what i'm looking at on tv.

and all that's left is smoke.
