OH MY GOD!!! please forgive me if i sound just slighty drunk at the moment..i quite possibly am...or at least i hope i am, there is no way i would have done anything like this if i wasn't.

So today started like any other day..got up at around 7.15 to cycle to work for 8 am.it was a long day, 8 until 5 and one member of staff short..so i got damn good tips out of it anyway!....levi came to meet me just before the end of my shift and we went home together picking up a bottle of dry white on the way. who would have guessed that the night started with an argument as soon as we got home..but anyway thats all in the past now...

so after a lovely dinner, almost a full bottle of wine and some ..well....fun ;)... we decided to head out. Arriving at a jazz bar to hear a piano trio we found only one pianist and an overly priced cocktail menu so we decided to move on..and head to Chruch street and the village to see if there was anything interesting going on...god if we knew then what we know now..!

After checking out a few places we went into a busy looking little place with loud music and a few dancing people..ordering a vodka and mix each we sat down and watched the dancing dykes...levi commenting on one of them that she found attractive...sometimes her taste in women worries me ..i just hope i don't reflect the general trend!

We bought a few raffle tickets for some bachelor/bachellorette auction..for which we were also given permission to dance on that bar for a couple of songs...laughing about the possibility of doing so we remained seated and watched the people who dared to get up there and dance...

a few minutes..and another vodka later..an announcement was made...tickets to the Area 2 gig in the Molson Amphitheatre could be won by any of the people who got up to dance on the bar to the next few songs..there were just a few simple instructions to be followed.....the next thing i knew both myself and levi were climbing onto bar stools and onto the bar to dance to Madonna songs...i was already thinking 'oh my god what the hell are you doing girl?' but we danced anyway, having fun and a bit of a laugh...

then came those 'simple instructions'...all you had to do was remove a few pieces of clothing and you'd be in the running...mm hmm..so lets see ..weighing up the pros and cons in my head... cons:take off some clothes and embarass yourself..lose some of your dignity..pros:no one knows you or gives a fuck anyway..you will (hopefully) not see most of these people again.... and you will have tickets to see David Bowie live in concert amongst other people!...

so a few seconds later levi asks...what colour is your bra? then comes my answer...'ummmm red...' and before i know it i'm taking my top off and dancing in only my bra and a skirt which is inching it's way up my legs as i dance....the dj finally notices what has happenned and starts to comment' you go girl' 'i'm seeing some red bra here'.. and cheers go up from the crowd gathering on the dance floor..... then starts the..'the next person to take off a peice of clothing is in the running for the tickets' so off comes levi's top revealing her oh so sexy white bra and torso.....and there we are..dancing sexily on this bar in skirts and underwear..

looking along the bar i see that one woman has taken her bra off covering up her..well 'white bits' with her arm and dancing away with some guy who only has his open trousers left on.....they're going to win for sure and the judge tells us..' you know one more piece girls and you'll be winning' and here comes the moment of decision..levi looks at me dancing away and says..'take it off'..looking at her i ask 'are you sure?!' and 2 seconds later she's dancing topless on this bar..in front of lots of people. with the dyke she likes giving me the thumbs up and looking on appreciatively as i try to cover up as much as i can with my hands while leaving enough exposed to fuel the imaginiation and the judges will to let us win!..so we're getting comments from the judges now and decision time is getting close... all and my head is saying 'all you need to do to win is take it off..go on..i mean do you really care?..you'll never see them again.. hopefully....well maybe you will but you are pissed ..do you really care anyway?!' and then off it comes!...levi and i dancing closely together..half naked ..on a bar...in a gay bar....with cheers going up around the dance floor and i'm thinking 'god we better win this'..

so it's the last song...and it's time for the crowd to decide who wins..the judge points to each of the couples dancing on the bar..us first..we get a pretty big cheer..then the next couple who get hardly anything..then the third couple with the other topless woman..they get a pretty big cheer so it's between us and them..flashing a bit more skin this time round we get a huge cheer from the crowd.... and the other couples following mysteriously appears to diminish..and before you know it we're being handed the tickets...to see DAVID BOWIE!!! and god even knows who else! LIVE!..

omg.. so a perfectly normal day for a 'good catholic' girl like me ends up with dancing topless in a gay bar in front of a massive crowd... who would have thought?!

i just hope my mother never ever finds out!!!!!!!!!!!!!
